Welcome to Brew Trades – My Trading Diary from the UK to the US Markets

UK-based trader transitioning from crypto to U.S. stocks

Why I Started Brew Trades

I’ve been trading crypto for a few years, and that’s where I first got a taste for markets – reading charts, managing emotions, learning through trial and error (lots of it).

But stock trading? That’s new territory for me. No more 24/7 madness – this time it’s about structure, strategy, and learning how to navigate the U.S. markets with a more measured approach.

I’m based in the UK, and I’ve chosen to trade U.S. stocks because of the volume, volatility, and cleaner setups. Plus, it fits my schedule – market open kicks off in the afternoon over here, which works out nicely.

This site Brew Trades is where I document the journey.
Every trade, every lesson, every small win or frustrating exit – it’s all getting logged right here.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Honest trade recaps – whether I nailed it or fumbled.
  • Trading psychology posts – especially when nerves or ego get in the way.
  • Lessons learned from stock trading – and how I’m adjusting.
  • My evolving thought process – as I build my own trading system.
  • Just me, learning in public – with a brew in hand.

No courses, no hype. Just a genuine log of the journey as it unfolds.

My Goal

Apply what I learned in crypto, level up with stocks, and trade with more focus.

If you’re also new to stocks, coming from crypto, or just enjoy seeing the early stages of someone figuring it out, I hope this site gives you something to relate to – or maybe even learn from.

Thanks for reading. Let’s see where this leads.
